4 Ways To Improve Gas Mileage

We figured it was time to share various ways for you to improve gas mileage on your vehicle. Unless of course you’re content with spending your hard earned money on gasoline.

We didn't think so!

So below we've compiled four different ways for you to get more miles out of your tank of gas.

All you have to do is be willing to understand the importance of each one and start utilizing them everyday.

#4 Driving When It's Cooler Outside - This may sound like a lost cause, but it's an important factor when trying to improve gas mileage in your vehicle.  We understand the majority of employed individuals go to work from 9-5, so this won't be too hard to do.

Driving in the morning and after 7pm will put less stress on your vehicle.  When the engine is cooler you'll find that the car runs better which will eventually give you more miles each trip.

#3 Coasting To Lights, Stop Signs, and Downhill - Have you ever ridden with someone who likes to speed up and then stop at the last second?  Would you believe they are using more gas just by having this irritating habit?  Well it's true and even if you do it every once in awhile you're losing gas as well.  So the next time you're out and about, be sure to coast up to a light or stop sign.

Adding in the occasional coast downhill can only improve gas mileage and should be done every chance you get.

#2 Oil Changes and Tune-ups - Okay, no one likes to take the time or spend the money on oil changes and tune-ups, but they're a necessity.  Not only will keeping your vehicle in tip-top shape help improve gas mileage; it will also keep your car from breaking down.  When everything runs smoother you'll find better acceleration uphill, plus a vehicle that will have a longer life span.

Keeping up with these two alone will save you tons of money down the road.

#1 Running Your Car on Water - This is the best car innovation we've seen since the wheel was invented.  Okay, maybe not that great, but you can't deny the need for these systems right now.  The biggest benefit besides the improved gas mileage is the world-wide help combating global warming.   Since HHO gas is extracted from water, it reverts back to it's original state as it exits your vehicle.  Thus creating a pollutant- free atmosphere for everyone around.

The question is whether or not you want to do your part and help.

Either way it's a win/win situation for you.
